Oats are a great super food and help to keep you fuller for longer, something that is often a battle for people with coeliac disease.

As the first company to launch Gluten Free Oats back in August, we are really excited by the extension of the range. .

Although regular oats do not inherently contain gluten, people with coeliac disease must avoid them at all costs because they are heavily contaminated with gluten both in the field and throughout the processing and supply chain. 

In July 2007, the World Health Organisation approved the consumption of pure, uncontaminated oats for by those with coeliac disease and this gave us the go ahead to develop our own gluten free product.  Removing the gluten contamination that occurs during farming, harvesting, shelling, rolling and packing our oats was a challenge that took dedication and care. The end result however, is oats with a level of gluten so low that they are totally safe for people with coeliac disease.

A personal note from our founder, Emma:
“My advice is to add the oats to your diet slowly – perhaps twice a week to start off with and build up from there. People who have just been diagnosed with a gluten problem should wait a few months before trying them. The reason for this is their high fibre content – too much fibre can upset delicate stomachs. Personally I can only manage the oats every second day – and it’s the breakfasts on those days that I most look forward to! “

Gluten free Rolled Oats

Our gluten free rolled oats are a great way to start the day or to bake with. Regular oats do not contain gluten but they are heavily contaminated throughout the supply chain unless you know how to put the kind of strict farming and processing practices to avoid this.

Gluten & Wheat free Rice Flake Porridge
A bowl of our gluten free Rice Flake Porridge is a great way to start the day. It has been developed for people with coeliac disease, who have problems digesting the high fibre content of our Gluten Free Rolled Oats.

Available in 500g bags from most Waitrose stores nationwide.

We hope you like their new packaging - it is very similar to the oats, but it now specifically states Rice Flake porridge on the front to help our customers to differentiate between the two.

A favourite of ours is now available in Sainsburys stores.  Developed for our customers who are unable to eat oats due to their high fibre content.

These soft baked rolls are similar to the gluten free loaf, but as a traditional bread roll.

They are completely versatile and make the perfect accompaniment to soups, dinners or for sandwiches.

65g gluten free roll (9.5cm/3 3/4in diameter).

These rolls are available to food retailers in bags of 4 and have a 15 day shelf life

Our deliciously chunky gluten free scones are packed full of sultanas and have a golden crust to give a real home-baked look.

The 80g gluten free scones are perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea and are available in selected independent retailers, in twin packs.

Gluten free pizza bases

These gluten free 8” pizza bases are the perfect replacement for traditional bread bases, allowing you to create your own individual gluten and wheat free pizzas.

The 300g bases are supplied to retailers in boxes of 12 (22cm/8in diameter) and are stored at room temperature. They have a 15 day shelf life.
