Delicious Alchemy product recall

Questions and Answers sheet:

What products have been recalled?
Delicious Alchemy Gluten Free Rolled Oats and Delicious Alchemy Original Gluten Free Purely Oaty Fruity Nut Muesli with the following date codes:  04/08/2012, 05/09/2012, 06/09/2012.
 
Why have these products been recalled?
These products may contain levels of gluten which do not meet Delicious Alchemy’s customer promise to provide food that is below 20 parts per million in gluten.
 
Will this affect my health?
This depends on your individual tolerance to gluten. If you react to levels above 20 parts per million gluten, there is a chance that you could get a gluten reaction from this product.
 
Are other date codes of this product safe to eat?
Yes. The problem has been detected and definitely only applies to these date codes. It came from two specific batches of oats.  Any products made from these batches are being withdrawn from sale.
 
Will this product be safe to eat in the future?
Yes, definitely. The source of contamination in the oats has been identified and it will never occur again.

Do you know how this happened?
As soon as we found out that there may be a problem with contamination, we contacted our suppliers and quickly identified the source of possible contamination. We then took immediate steps to ensure this will never happen again.
