Gluten Free Sage & Onion Stuffing

Stuffing is a really important part of a roast dinner. Follow this simple recipe and enjoy mopping up your gluten free gravy with your gorgeous gluten free stuffing! Download the recipe here

Ingredients:
GF = Gluten Free
*Check these ingredients are gluten free on the label

1 onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp fresh sage, finely chopped
80g/3oz fresh white GF breadcrumbs
salt and pepper
1 egg, beaten

Method:

  1. Over a low heat, fry the onion in the oil, until soft but not coloured
  2. In a bowl, mix together the onion, sage and breadcrumbs and season well.
  3. Add enough of the beaten egg to bind the mixture together and use to stuff meat or poultry or to roll into individual stuffing balls.
  4. If making stuffing balls, cook in the roasting tin with the meat for 30 minutes.
