After being diagnosed as coeliac three years ago, Emma Killilea decided that the wheat and gluten free offering was severely lacking.

She promptly gave up her job as a computer games producer and set up Delicious Alchemy, with a mission to make the lives of wheat and gluten sufferers freer and easier by creating practical and importantly, desirable, food products.

In order to achieve this she realised that she needed to retrain. She sold her house and made her way to Sheffield, where she studied food science and marketing at Sheffield Hallam University.

It wasn’t long before her efforts paid off and the company began winning awards.

The Delicious Alchemy team is now growing annually and each person on it is also dedicated to the cause!
